TDi North goes Racing!
Here at TDi North Powertuning we are proud to be associated with many customers and race teams that are putting their cars where they belong…..On the track!
We have been drag racing our EP3 Civic Type-R for many years now with great success through several evolutions including 2L NA, to full Toda 2.2L high compression engine with ITB’s and in its latest form a 2.6L GT40 turbo setup with Nitrous giving 1000+bhp!
We have in some cases done complete builds including car preparation, engine builds, suspension work and mapping and in others people come to us just for our suspension expertise or for engine mapping.
Below are a few of the cars we have had involvement with in the past few years, some are still competing today:

TDi North Turbo Honda Civic Type-R
The car was built purely for drag racing. Up until the GT40 turbo went on it was still driven daily. The car competed in the HKS drag series and Jap Racer Drag series events at Santa Pod and Shakespeare County Raceway until it was recently sold.
TDi North Involvement:
Full build project including engine, custom turbo kit fabrication, track preparation and Hondata mapping. 1000bhp+
Dougie Gemmell Supercharged Honda Civic Type-R
Dougie still drives this car daily. The car competes in the HKS drag series and Jap Racer Drag series events at Santa Pod and Shakespeare County Raceway as well as doing the odd trackdays.
TDi North Involvement:
Engine build track preparation and Hondata mapping. 475bhp+
Adam Buckley Turbo Honda Civic Type-R
Until recently the car was still a daily driver. The car competes in the HKS drag series and Jap Racer Drag series events at Santa Pod and Shakespeare County Raceway.
TDi North Involvement:
Full build project including engine, custom turbo kit fabrication and Hondata mapping. 500bhp+
Buddy Club Honda Integra DC5
Competed in the 2008 and 2009 Time Attack Series.
TDi North Involvement:
Diagnostic support and Hondata mapping.
Paul West Nissan Skyline GTR33
Competed in the 2008 Time Attack Series.
TDi North Involvement:
Suspension setup, track preparation, brake upgrades, custom fuel system, turbo conversion and HKS V-Pro mapping. 600bhp+
Dave Thorpe Honda Civic Type-R
Competed in the 2008 and 2009 Time Attack Series.
TDi North Involvement:
Track preparation, transmission upgrades, suspension setup and Hondata mapping.
James Nichols Honda Integra DC2
Competed in the 2008 Nippon Challenge Series.
TDi North Involvement:
Track suspension setup, Hondata S300 mapping.
TGM Sport Racing Honda Integra DC5’s
TGM cars regularly race in the EERC (European Endurance Racing Club) S1 production class.

Hondata mapping.
J’s Racing Honda Integra DC5
Competed in the 2006 & 2007 Time Attack Series.
TDi North Involvement:
Hondata mapping.
Paul West Honda Civic Type-R
Competed in the 2006 & 2007 Time Attack Series.

Sara Church Honda Civic Type-R
Competed in the 2006 CSCC Tin Top Series.
